Peter Parcek Interview, “I realized quitting was not for me…”

On this Peter Parcek interview, being 3 feet away from the stage and watching Clapton & Cream, Jeff Beck & Rod Stewart and Peter Green (in London)… opening for Roy Buchanan & Jerry Garcia… overcoming a career-threatening wrist injury, being real and coming from your heart, and why his heart is opening up again. LOVELY, genuine guy

Peter Parcek moved to London after high school and immersed himself in the British Blues scene. Inspired by his experience in England, he moved back home and began playing guitar 8-10 hours a day, and joined his first serious band, Boston’s Nine Below Zero. This led to Peter playing on recordings for piano legend Pinetop Perkins and a stint as Perkins’ touring bandleader. To date, Peter’s released 4 solo LPs including his most recent one, Mississippi Suitcase.
