During this time, he’s been inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Fame… had 4 LPs hit # 1 on the Blues charts, 1 at #2… and won 4 Grammys. In 2020, his 63rd year of performing, he won his 4th Grammy, this one for Best Traditional Blues Album: Tall, Dark, & Handsome (his 26th), an LP that many people feel is one of the best of his career. He also received the Americana Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance… and he celebrated the 26th annual Sandy Beaches Cruise, which he started
