NYC Drummer most well-known for his tenure with David Bowie, toured and recorded with David from 1992 (Black Tie / White Noise), on over 30 LPs through David’s passing in 2016. Sterling has also recorded & toured with Cyndi Lauper, Cameo, Nile Rogers & Chic, David Byrne, Jewel, Natalie Merchant, Earl Slick, Eric Clapton, Suzanne Vega, Nona Hendryx, Natalie Merchant, Tina Turner & others… was a member of Duran Duran and Soul Asylum,. He’s been playing and touring on and off with The B-52’s since the early 90’s and is currently their Music Director.
