James grew up in a very small town in California, making tortillas in the family business, but he knew he wanted more out of life. His journey includes getting sober, gigging out 6 nights, starting at age 15, leaving town during a low point in his career, doing repair work & mods on literally every aspect of guitar and related gear, and loads more.
